Around the world, people always need a little help. Some classes at Nautilus Middle School are doing 10 hours of community service. There are various types of community service projects students are participating in and contributing to. Some student may hold a fundraiser, donation drive, or volunteer. All of these good things will help people in need overcome their problems.
One community service project is a donation drive to collect gently used or new shoes. You can help numerous adults and kids get proper shoes that they can’t afford, by donating shoes. To donate the shoes, please go to room 319. The shoes donated will be distributed around the globe to people who need shoes. The organization is called Soles4Souls. This drive accepts any shoe size and color. We would very much appreciate your donation Famine, pollution, and many more things are some problems the World faces today. Have you ever wished you could help solve these problems? Fortunately, there is a way you can. Some schools and classrooms are in need of well-condition books. We will be holding book donations in Mr. Fernandez’s classroom, room 319, and in Ms. Burns’ classroom, room 264. We are specifically only accepting kindergarten, first and second grade level story books. The books can benew or slightly/gently used. The book donations will last from February 8th to March 18th. The books donated will be donated to a school that is in severe need of books. This is a concerning problem that needs help. A good education for kids is at stake. Make a difference and donate books. Help share a love for reading among younger kids. |
