Interview with raffaello bruni, nautilus spelling bee winnerQ: What word did you win the spelling bee with? Raffaello: I won with tabulation, which means to arrange mathematically or systematically. Q: How did it feel when you won the bee? Raffaello: It was amazing! In the final rounds I was against Michelle Mally, who is very talented and skilled. All in all, though, it was a very positive experience. Q: What advice would you give to a student who wants to participate in a spelling bee or just improve their vocabulary? Raffaello: Read lots of books!!! Q: Are you preparing for the tri-county spelling bee? Rafaello: Yes, I am studying! I am very very excited, and thankful that Ms. Meder organized this event. (thank you to Ryen Rasmussen for the interview) |
