softballThe shark softball teams had great seasons! Both the boys' and girls' softball teams ended their season at the quarter finals, but it was an undefeated season that was quite successful. Both coaches, as well as the student body are proud of our softball shark team, and congratulate them on their excellent season!!
SWIMMIng ctd.Camila Gomez won the 50 yard Freestyle event and placed third in the 100 yard Backstroke with teammate Kaya Martin finishing fifth. Alexandra Bah-Jain finished first in the 100 yard freestyle with teammate Kaya Martin finishing fourth. The girl Sharks were led by strong performances in the 200 yard Medley Relay (2nd place finish) and 200 yard Freestyle Relay (2nd place finish) comprised of Camila Gomez,Chloe Gonzalez, Kaya Martin, and Priscilla Lamery. Chloe Gonzalez won the 100 yard Individual Medley and placed second in the 50 yard Butterfly.

sWIMMINGThe two time defending district champion Nautilus Middle School Sharks Swim team closed their season yesterday with an excellent showing at the Miami-Dade County Swim Championships at Miami Dade College on December 10th. The Sharks girls swim team who have won the last two Miami-Dade County District championships finished in second place beating out nine other schools to grab the runner up trophy. The Sharks Boys swim team also fared very well as they also beat nine other school to secure second place and win a runner up trophy as well.

The boy Sharks finished second in both the 200 yard Medley Relay and the 200 yard Freestyle Relay. The relay team consisted of Nicolas Bruna, Lautaro Gomez, Ethan Reta and Luca Lesentier. Nicholas Bruna came in third in both the 50 yard freestyle and the 200 yard freestyle event. Luca Lesentier came in second in the 100 yard backstroke with teammate Diego Marques finishing third. Elijah Adorno, Keegan Winton, Alexander Raymond, Tomas Dominquez, Diego Marques, Michael Solares, and Andre Smit also contributed strong performances. |
